Beauty Refined is a modern, sleek medical spa where your aesthetic needs are our top priority. Our unique location at Creekside DTC is private, quaint, and has a beautiful garden feel. Your experience of our relaxing location begins as you walk through the property to Beauty Refined. At Beauty Refined we specialize in all things anti-aging by providing you the highest quality cosmetic and aesthetic injectables, laser, and facial treatments. These include Botox/Dysport/Xeomin®, Juvederm/Restylane /Prollenium/Radiesse® Dermal Fillers, Kybella, Sculptra®, PRP/PRF, SkinPen & Vivace RF Microneedling, Motus AX laser hair removal, and Quanta Chrome laser treatments. As you enter our office, we have created a modern and clean space for you to enjoy your experience with us, and sometimes you might be able to hear the creek and waterfall out back!

Our providers at Beauty Refined specialize in achieving ultimate skin health by recommending a customized medical grade skincare and treatment plan, all while using evidence-based skin procedures.

We have a unique approach to our client experience; your journey will begin with a consultation to assess your skincare and anti-aging needs. Unlike other medical spas, at Beauty Refined, we take extra time to discuss your skincare and treatment options to help you achieve your goals of a natural, refined, and refreshed look! All our medical grade treatments are provided to you by our highly trained and experienced medical providers, nurses, and aestheticians.

Annette Wychgram, MSN, APRN, NP-C, FAM, Founded Beauty Refined in 2015. Annette entered medical aesthetics as a nice outlet from the intense heavy acute care medicine, finding aesthetics to the perfect balance and allow her to use her precise and skilled needle hand. She loved that she could be hands on and help her patients feel healthier inside and out providing them with a boost in self-confidence.

Since then, Annette has attended numerous trainings, conferences, and recently completed her fellowship in aesthetic medicine to always improve her skills as an injector and provide the highest safety and quality results for all her patients. She has been providing private training, and recently in Jan 2022, has become a National Trainer for industry-leading companies; Galderma and Prollenium.

We will spend time with each and every one of our clients, to listen and truly understand what they want and what their skincare goals are. Annette Wychgram, MSN, FNP-C

Founder | Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner | Clinical Trainer

Annette Wychgram is the Founder of Beauty Refined, a nationally recognized Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, and clinical trainer. She is known for natural, refined results and an uncompromising standard of care. 

With more than a decade of advanced practice experience, Annette brings a strong medical foundation to aesthetic medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Regis University and practiced as both a Hospitalist and Neurovascular Nurse Practitioner before founding Beauty Refined in 2015. 

Her philosophy is simple: beautiful results begin with sound medical judgment. Annette approaches aesthetics with equal parts clinical expertise and artistry, focusing on restoring balance, enhancing natural features, and creating results that leave clients looking refreshed and never overdone. 

Annette completed a Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and has served as a national trainer for Galderma GAIN and Prollenium, as well as a Key Opinion Leader for Cartessa Aesthetics. She continues to train and mentor aesthetic providers in advanced techniques, regenerative aesthetics, patient assessment, and clinical safety. 

As Founder of Beauty Refined, Annette leads the clinical vision of the practice and oversees treatment protocols, provider education, safety, and the standards of care across the Beauty Refined brand beyond Colorado and bringing its signature approach to refined aesthetics, clinical excellence, and elevated patient care to new markets nationwide.  

For Annette, aesthetic medicine has never been about changing the way someone looks. It’s about helping clients look refreshed, refined, and authentically themselves, so the confidence they feel on the inside is reflected on the outside.

Paul Gerrard

CEO

Paul is a seasoned business leader, entrepreneur, and coach with a lifelong passion for building people and businesses. Over his career, he has helped launch, scale, and support multiple successful ventures across franchising, technology, and service-based industries.

Paul spent 21 years at Hewlett-Packard and went on to hold executive leadership roles across a range of businesses—from high-growth tech and service companies to swim schools and specialty hospitality concepts. Throughout his journey, he has been deeply committed to mentoring leaders, developing strong teams, and creating cultures where people and businesses can thrive.

In recent years, Paul has focused his expertise on franchising, playing key roles in brands such as SafeSplash Swim Schools, Bluebird Portraits, and now Beauty Refined. His experience, steady leadership, and long-term perspective bring invaluable guidance to the brand as it grows with intention and integrity.

Outside of business, Paul is a devoted family man. He and his wife, Tami, have been married for nearly 50 years and are proud parents to two sons and grandparents to four grandchildren—an enduring reminder of the values, relationships, and legacy that guide everything he does.

Karissa Gerrard

COO

Karissa brings over 15 years of franchise leadership experience to Beauty Refined, with a proven track record of building, scaling, and strengthening high-performing franchise systems. She played a pivotal role in growing SafeSplash Swim School into one of North America’s largest swim school franchisors, helping guide operations, acquisitions, and expansion across more than 150 locations.

Known for her strategic mindset and franchisee-first approach, Karissa has built scalable systems, optimized unit-level economics, and led support teams that help owners launch strong, operate efficiently, and grow confidently. From integrating acquisitions to improving customer retention and profitability, she brings the kind of real-world experience that directly benefits franchise owners.

Karissa is also deeply passionate about health and wellness, which makes Beauty Refined a natural fit. She believes confidence starts from within—and that when people feel their best, their beauty naturally follows. That philosophy drives her excitement for helping franchisees deliver not just aesthetic services, but an elevated, confidence-boosting client experience at every location.

Hans Wychgram

CTO

Hans brings over 20 years of engineering and operational experience to Beauty Refined, serving as the brand’s strategic backbone and ultimate problem solver. With a rare mix of analytical precision and hands-on execution, Hans helps turn big ideas into systems that actually work.

From day one, Hans has worked side by side with Annette to build Beauty Refined’s operational foundation. He plays a key role in business strategy, infrastructure, and day-to-day decision-making—bringing clarity, calm leadership, and practical solutions to even the most complex challenges.
Hans has touched nearly every part of the business, from systems and IT to vendor management, marketing support, and facilities planning. He personally helped design, build, and optimize Beauty Refined locations, giving franchisees real-world insight into site planning, build-outs, and operational efficiency.

For franchise owners, Hans means confidence behind the scenes—strong systems, smart processes, and a steady leader focused on helping every Beauty Refined location run smoothly, scale efficiently, and succeed long-term.
